Harry Potter and the Philosipher's Stone

Joanne Rowling's first book is an amzing one. She is a spectacular writer, and I myself like to think that our style is partway the same. Of course, I am wrong in several ways, probably all. But I think that, since I have read the books so many times, they have had an affect on my writing skills. Not to say it's a bad affect. I like my writing.

With Harry Potter, you'll have to like magic. Because this book IS magic, if you catch my drift. It starts out so simple, but as the story continues, you find that Harry is a... meddlesome person. Curious, perhaps. This book is good because he's not good at absolutely everything. I doubt you haven't read it. Read it again. Duh.
